Alaska Resource Education Awards

 

Alaska Resource Education (formerly the Alaska Mineral and Energy Resource Education Fund) Awards for the Alaska Science and Engineering Fair:

One award will be given at each level for a project that best presents an investigation of mineral, energy or forest resources. An additional award will be given to the teacher of each winning student.

 

Alaska Resource Education is a partnership between the State of Alaska Department of Education and private industry. The mission of Alaska Resource Education is to provide Alaska's students with the knowledge to make informed decisions relating to mineral, energy, and forest resources.

Alaska Resource Education Prizes for 2010:

  • Alaska Resource Education Kit (value ~ $400 each) to one student in the Elementary School category. An additional kit goes to the winning student's teacher.

  • Alaska Resource Education Kit (value ~ $400 each) to one student in the Middle School category. An additional kit goes to the winning student's teacher.

  • Alaska Resource Education Kit (value ~ $400 each) to one student in the Senior High category. An additional kit goes to the winning student's teacher.
