North Pacific Research Board's Marine Science Awards:

The North Pacific Research Board will sponsor three new awards during the 2008 Alaska Science and Engineering Fair. The awards are for marine science projects at each grade level:

• Elementary: $50 and a Behind-the-Scenes Tour at the Alaska SeaLife Center for the student and student's family

• Middle School: $75 and a Behind-the-Scenes Tour at the Alaska SeaLife Center for the student and student's family

• High School: $100 and a Behind-the-Scenes Tour at the Alaska SeaLife Center for the student and student's family
