ASEF "Science Star" Event: March 23-25, 2012
The
Alaska Science and Engineering Fair will be held March 23-25, 2012 at
Begich Middle School in Anchorage, Alaska. Registration will be Friday,
March 23, The main judging event will be Saturday, March 24, and the
Awards Ceremony will be Sunday, March 25.
Online
Registration for 2012 will be open soon.
New for 2012! If
you register online, you will not have to pay the entry fee.
Walk-in registrations only will pay the entry fee of $5 per student for
grades K-6, $10 per student for grades 7-12.
Fair Within a Fair The
COSEE Ocean Science Fair is held within the Alaska Science &
Engineering Fair. Ocean Sciences projects include diverse subjects
regarding oceans, river drainages, and climate change, with special
emphasis on the cultural aspects of the subject.
New Award! The
National Park Service is offering a new award for grades 9-12.

and Engineering Fair and to the prestigious U.S Stockholm Junior Water

2011 "Science Rocks" Event a Record
Breaker!
A record-breaking 513 individual and team
projects entered the 2011 Alaska Science and
Engineering Fair. Over 600 students participated, representing over 70
schools throughout Alaska. Approximately 40 projects co-entered in the
COSEE Ocean Science Fair. Many thanks go to

Intel ISEF-Affiliated
Science, Engineering, and Mathematics Fair.
FAQs about Intel ISEF-Affiliated Fairs
All grade K-12 students in
Alaska are invited to enter a science, engineering, computer
science, or mathematics project in the Fair. It is not
necessary to win at a local fair in order to enter the
Alaska Science and Engineering Fair.
